Pride of Creation
02:47
|
|||
diversity must be averted
because a plain ideal is easily imitated
development must be impeded
because we’re really into keeping our minds dated
come on, human
forget about humanity
remember your roots
and bloom in asininity
come on, you pride of creation
black blinds conveniently
so take out your paint-brush
and die in imbecility
of course, we respect everyone
if they only fit in our bigoted morality
we accept every single human being
unless they’re not a part of our world of simplicity
come on, human
forget about humanity
remember your roots
and bloom in asininity
come on, you pride of creation
black blinds conveniently
so take out your paint-brush
and die in imbecility.

Water Jar
03:33
|
|||
hope you’ll enjoy swimming
here in this water jar
don’t pay attention to the glass wall
just attempt to swim quite far
and as you’re swimming you may notice
that you’re going ‘round in circles
but now hurry up, outmatch your fellows
and don’t ask for the purpose
and if you’re afraid that you could drown –
well, we all are gonna die
It’s alright if you’re going down
at least you gave it a try
and now that you are about to drown
make sure that you look flawless
‘cause everybody’s gonna watch you
until you’re floating on the surface.

The Burning
01:51
|
|||
the fire's burning so bright
my skin is getting pale
my body turns into light
please somebody help me
the trees are black in the night
the water's standing stale
i'm standing right in your sight
why can't you see?
don't take the heat off me
don't take the pain away
please don't erase the fire
‘cause as the flames burst higher
the light that you can see
is the spirit trying to escape
my inner voice is a liar
destructive is my desire.

She Tried
02:23
|
|||
she tried to make it end
only ended up sick tonight
vomiting out her mind
left her empty and numb inside
and as she watched her anguish
running down the drain of the sink
with the dawn of the merciless daylight
she waited for another day to begin.

Homes
04:04
|
|||
in between of wet tissues
and dry throats
we slowly dehydrate
salty words give way to salty tears
it’s messed up
but it’s home
in between of perpetual issues
and eternal loathe
we confess our love today
agony gives way to happy cheers
we’re messed up
but we’re home
under the weight of anxiety
and senses of guilt
you recollect yourself
confidence gets over silly fears
we won’t mess up
‘cause we are our homes.

What Keeps Me Alive
04:12
|
|||
the overwhelming strain
the perpetual fight
the desperate endeavours
and my spineless pride
are what keeps me alive
the detachment of all beliefs
the erosion of all secure
the refusal of all shelter
and the denial of all pure
is what will kill me in the end.

The Treadmill
06:56
|
|||
perpetually stagnant
we’re working the treadmill
incessantly forwards
i’m carried by my feet
untiringly backwards
the ground keeps on moving
exhausted and wounded
i’ll finally arrive
nowhere.

Full / Empty
12:18
|
|||
trapped in duty, released into venture
drained from apathy, drowning in despair
deprived of reason, pelted with judgement
left off direction, seized by indifference
empty by fullness, full of emptiness.
